Cory Farris - Preseason All-American Nomination

Came across this announcement recently from Boone County High School:

"Congratulations to Cory Farris, Cory was named to the 2008 Louisville Slugger Pre-Season High School All-American team. Cory was one of only fourteen catchers nationwide to be named to the first team. Louisville Slugger sponsors the High School All-American teams. The staff of Collegiate Baseball newspaper selects the teams. Nice work Cory!"

Milford prepares for sectional wrestling

Milford had nine league placers and two champions at the FAVC Buckeye meet last weekend. Zach Sherman (130) and Kyle Krummert (135) were champions for Milford.

Milford will be at the Division I sectional at Western Brown starting at 6 p.m. Friday. The tournament resumes at 11 a.m. Saturday.
