Lights, Cameras, Action

Just got this press release from Lakota East Sports Information Director Dan Hilan:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EAST FOOTBALL ON FOX SPORTS NET!

Lakota East Football will take center stage on Thursday, September 20th at Thunderhawk Stadium. Fox Sports Net Ohio will do a live broadcast that evening of East’s match up against GMC foe the Sycamore Aviators, at a special 6:30 PM kickoff. Lakota East is one of several local high school football teams getting the opportunity to showcase their programs to a regional Ohio TV sports audience.

"We are really excited about Fox Sports being apart of that evening," said East Athletic Director Jim Rouff. "It gives us the opportunity to showcase not only our football program and a great game, but also our students, cheerleaders, band and the entire school to a wider audience in our community." As a special promotion that evening the athletic department is sponsoring a "WHITE OUT" (everyone wears white). The annual Senior Night recognition will also take place before the 6:30 PM kickoff.

Fox Sports will setup and host their regular pre-game show outside the East stadium gates beginning at 6:00 PM. The contest will be aired live on Time Warner’s channel 43. Pre-sale tickets are available in the East athletic office at $3.00 for students and $6.00 for adults.

East Sports Information Director
