Parents, don't be "THAT GUY".

In the past week I have attended four high school basketball games around the greater Cincinnati / Dayton area and no matter where I am, "THAT GUY" is always there.

You know him, the one that shows up at every game trying to relive his high school glory days. Like a typical "THAT GUY", his memory of actual events become more exaggerated with each passing year.

"THAT GUY" has the following traits.

1. Complains about every foul or lack of foul that the referee calls.

2. Constantly yells instructions to the refs, coaches or players because after all he is "THAT GUY".

3. Believes he knows how to do it better and lets everyone around him know about "Back when he played....blah blah blah".

4. Even when the team he is cheering for is winning by double-digits with less than a minute to go is still acting like the refs are out to get him.

5. Usually wears the high school gear so everyone knows who he is there to support.

Please don't be "THAT GUY". He is bad for sports period but especially those played in high school and younger. Remember the game is won and lost by those actually playing the game. It isn't your victory any more than it is your defeat.
