St. Xavier in state semifinals

St. X plays Lakewood St. Edward in a Division I state basketball semifinal Friday at 5:15 p.m. at Ohio State's Value City Arena. It is the second consecutive state tournament appearance for both teams.

St. X defeated Withrow in the regional final last weekend to reach the state final four.

If St. X wins Friday, it will play in the state final Saturday night in Columbus.
