New Hacks Fab 5 Basketball Poll

Here are the latest No. 1 teams in the Hacks Fab 5 Basketball poll released today:

Boys: Moeller, North College Hill, Covington Catholic
Girls: Lakota West, Badin, Notre Dame

Polls are not scientific by any stretch. Right now I think, pardon the pun, Moeller boys and Lakota West girls are a slam dunk No. 1. The Crusaders have beaten No. 2 St. Xavier and No. 3 Elder. Likewise, the Firebirds have defeated No. 2 Mount Notre Dame and No. 3 Oak Hills. Any disputes there?

It gets a touch dicier with some of the other teams. Schedule strength plays a big part in my mind, along with quality wins over strong opponents. League strength is also important. That's why a 1 or even 2-loss team could be ranked above an unbeaten team.
