Indian Hill wins Division II golf sectional

The rain wasn't making things easy for golfers at Sharon Woods Thursday. But after a two-hour rain delay, Indian Hill was able to win the Division II boys' golf sectional.

The Braves (324) advanced to the district tournament Oct. 4 at Weatherwax. Senior Michael Burke led the Braves with a par 78.

"We thought if we shot 320 it would be a good number," Indian Hill coach Bob Larbes said.

"Going into today you just want to get out (and advance). It's very nice to win it. The point is to advance. The scores were very high compared to years in the past. I think the kids were really able to focus (and) shut out... the weather."
