Lakota West Rolls On

St. X did Lakota West a favor and knocked off Moeller (#1 in the state) prior to Friday's Regional Match Up.

Ironic that Lakota West's sophomore pitcher Bryan Beaver transferred from Moeller to West after his freshman year and ends up pitching the Firebirds to an 8-6 victory over the Bombers.

West (26-5) advances to a state semifinal at 10 a.m. Thursday against Cleveland St. Ignatius at Cooper Stadium in Columbus.

Should the Firebirds make it to the championship game, they could face Elder should the Panthers get past Mentor.

Congrats to West on their first ever Final Four appearance in men's baseball.
